ACTION:
Charge U.S. and “State of Hawaii” officials with DISCRIMINATION, WAR CRIMES, etc. if their agencies continue to mistreat or prosecute HAWAIIAN NATIONALS on the basis of their nationality.
WHAT’S THIS ABOUT?:
As was pointed out in Kuʻe Action 1, right now, Hawaiian Nationals are being treated with hostility by the agents of the State of Hawaii government and the U.S. Federal government. Hawaiian Nationals are being denied services because they are not U.S. citizens or State of Hawaii residents; the state courts routinely deny Hawaiian Nationals fair trials; the state courts routinely deny Hawaiian Nationality is a distinct and separate nationality and rule adversely and punitively against those persons who claim to be Hawaiian Nationals.
This is discrimination on the basis of national origin, and it is strictly prohibited under U.S. Federal and State of Hawaii laws. (The practice is also abhorrent to Hawaiian Kingdom and international laws.)
Because these are such blatant violations, we should be able to stop this unfavorable treatment by filing complaints for discrimination against the state agents and agencies for violating our right to our nationality. If a simple complaint with the State Civil Rights commission doesn’t do the job, then formal charges can be filed in (U.S.) Federal courts.
A ruling from either the commission or the court would: 1) put a stop to the discriminatory practice and 2) by virtue of the basis for the case, establish that Hawaiian Nationality is a valid, recognized national status.
OBJECTIVE:
To stop agents of the U.S. Federal and State of Hawaii governments from discriminating against Hawaiian Nationals based on their national origin.
TAKING ACTION:
Put our heads and resources together; to find an ideal case; find a lawyer and file a complaint to the Civil Rights Commission. Walk it through the process. Generate tons of press...the U.S. and State will not be able to justify their position and won’t be able to stand the heat of such blatant discrimination.
